Artists, have you ever wanted to teach a class, but you're unsure how to get started? Well, now's your chance!

Hear about the process from an organizational perspective as education directors from the Octagon, the Workspace, and Reiman Gardens discuss each venue, finding and paying instructors, handling registration, supplies, and overall expectations. Then learn from successful local instructors how to design a class, develop a syllabus, and deliver quality instruction in an informal setting.

This workshop is hosted by the Ames Community Arts Council as a part of the Professional Practice Series, and is made possible in part through funding from the Ames Commission on the Arts (COTA).

Tuesday, June 6 from 6-8pm at The Octagon Center for the Arts.
