Sarah Huffman, Assistant Director of the CCE, and Graduate writing consultants will talk to the ThinkSpace Learning Community about best practices for developing writing skills in students from lab and field journals to job materials to advanced dissertations and research writing.

She will also talk about the ongoing writing research collaboration with ThinkSpace and Preparing Future Faculty (PFF) and the possibilities for faculty to partner with CCE on writing research.

The Center for Communication Excellence (CCE) is a terrific resource on our campus that has a wide array of specialized programming and resources to support advanced disciplinary writing. Their methods are grounded in the study of communication genres as well as in the scholarship of teaching and learning.
