Registration includes continental breakfast, luncheon and refreshments. Each participant will receive a First Amendment Tool Kit with resources and activity guides, a First Amendment T-shirt, and their own First Amendment Celebration action plan.

This workshop is designed to train campus and community leaders as First Amendment activists. Upon completion, participants will be able to return to their schools and communities equipped with ideas to create their own exciting and creative events to celebrate the First Amendment and educate others about its five freedoms.

First Amendment Days
Now in its 16th year, First Amendment Days celebrates the five freedoms protected by the First Amendment: religion, speech, press, assembly and petition. It's organized by Greenlee's First Amendment Committee, which is made up of members of the Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication, Iowa State Daily Media Group and the Leo Mores Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
