How do students learn best in your discipline? Where can you publish the way you solved instructional problems? Workshop leaders and experienced Discipline-Based Educational Researchers (DBER) Dr. Nancy Boury (Microbiology) and Dr. Sayali Kukday (Genetics, Development, and Cell Biology) will share resources to start publishing your learning solutions.

Participants will be introduced to and share DBER journal articles, begin designing their own educational research projects, and form collaborations with participants from other disciplines. From this introductory workshop we hope to bring together a journal-club-style reading-and-learning circle.
