The purpose of the ISU-OLC is to share campus best practices to improve online teaching and learning; see how others are using ISU's Learning Management System (LMS) Canvas to create innovative learning experiences, inform the campus about existing & new web-based instructional technologies, participate in new technology testing and evaluation; as well as, to leverage LMS expertise, experience and training resources across campus.

We are back after an exciting summer break and ready to continue updating you about Canvas and instructional technology happenings around campus. The first gathering of ISU Online Learning Community will revolve around the following agenda:

= Canvas changes over the summer break: featuring Studio and several improvements to the ISU AdminTools.
= Attractive courses in Canvas: an engaging conversation with Lisa Lund, Instructional Development Coordinator at ISU's College of Veterinary Medicine, on the many ways in which instructors can build easy-to-navigate and accessible Canvas courses.
= CELT's newest addition Gretchen Anderson, who among her other responsibilities is leading the institution-wide implementation of Top Hat.

Check out Canvas Open Labs and other CELT's programming events at ISU's Events Calendar. If you have questions about this message, please direct them to Lesya Hassall at
