Join expert Maggie Howe of Prairieland Herbs to explore a dye experience like no other. Create a one-of-a-kind silk scarf as well as beautiful cotton fabric using a huge variety of easy-to-obtain dyestuffs: fresh garden flowers, herbs, leaves, and a variety of everyday items, such as copper pennies, spent teabags, berries, kitchen spices, and much more.

The results are always varied and completely unique! Create and take home your own custom dyed 11x60 inch silk scarf and one fat quarter of cotton fabric. All materials supplied. You can take advantage of the dyestuff and dye as many scarves/fabric you like for an extra small fee. (Hint, this is a GREAT way to make some fabric or scarves for gifting or sewing a very special project.)

Adults and ages 12+ welcome. Preregistration with prepayment is required by Thursday, October 10.
