Ceramics Artist Peter Hamann will talk about his artwork and how it was influenced by Japanese culture.

Artist Peter Hamann has lived in Japan for over 20 years and his ceramic practice is deeply influenced by Japanese culture and traditional ceramics. Hamann, who was born in Nebraska and studied in Iowa, will return to the United States this January to a give a talk about his artwork and influences in the Brunnier Art Museum, where Hamann's ceramics will be on display as part of the Contemplate Japan exhibition.
