Today we use our pocket, laptop, and desktop computers to carry out calculations, prepare graphs and figures, write manuscripts, and communicate with colleagues near and far. How did we do all these tasks 50 years ago? The tools we used required skills no longer taught. I will demonstrate some items and share stories from my experiences with developing technology.
