This event will be rescheduled. The Carbon Removal Forum is a campuswide event to harness knowledge and capacity toward developing an Iowa State University program in agriculturally based carbon removal that could contribute toward mitigating climate change. Featured speakers are Philip Robertson, Michigan State University, and Daniel Sanchez, University of California, Berkeley. Registration (free) is requested.

Why should you attend
The forum will create an open dialogue with students, faculty, and concerned citizens. The outcome of the forum will be an action-based, campuswide plan to address agriculturally-based carbon removal in the research, education, and extension missions of the university.

Who is invited
Students, faculty, and concerned citizens who would like to contribute towards solving climate change problems and are interested in learning about carbon removal practices and technologies.

More information
In addition to our featured speakers, the forum will include two panels of Iowa State faculty and students to highlight campus expertise and ISU projects/programs. The panels will be followed by facilitated breakout sessions focused on developing next steps and action items for the campuswide plan.

This forum is being organized by Iowa State's Bioeconomy Institute and supported by the Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost.
