Karen Couves (Faculty Development Program Coordinator, CELT), moderates a panel of mindful and contemplative pedagogy practitioners from Iowa State: Christina Campbell (Associate Professor, FSHN), Brenna Dixon (Assistant Teaching Professor, ENGL), and Janet Johnson (Clinical Associate Professor, FSHN).

Panelists will share what mindful and contemplative practices they have incorporated, why they chose to do so, and the changes in student engagement and learning they have noticed. Participants will leave with practical ways to implement mindfulness in their own classrooms.

This panel is one in a series of sessions on mindful and contemplative pedagogy.
