Are your students as passionate and happy about their choice of discipline as you are? How have you been cultivating personal motivation and investment? In what ways are you intentional about embedding happiness and wellbeing in the learning process?

Brenna Dixon (Associate Teaching Professor, English) and Karen Scheel (Teaching Professor, Psychology) use mindfulness activities in their online and in-person classrooms to engage and inspire their students. Participants in this workshop will have the opportunity to practice a variety of techniques suitable for different disciplines and share what they have been doing in their classrooms. Collectively, we "already are" cultivating happy, motivated future professionals and ISU faculty have much to share with each other.
