Celebrate Earth Day with ISU and the Ames community. Activities include a diversity of Earth-minded engagement and empowerment opportunities, food and sustainability-minded giveaways.

ISU will celebrate Earth Day on April 22, from 10am-2:00pm, on the South Library Lawn. The event will feature campus and community organizations who support sustainability through events and initiatives; free fruit-infused water from ISU Dining and bakery cookies; and sustainability-minded giveaways - earned through visiting the displays of participating organizations. Don't forget to bring a donation for The SHOP student food pantry, any gently-used unneeded clothes to donate to the Students Helping Local Communities clothing drive, and your water bottle for fruit-infused water (you can also earn one at the event).

ISU's Earth Day Celebration is sponsored by the Office of Sustainability and assisted by fabulous ISU student volunteers.

Participating organizations include: City of Ames Smart Watersheds, Climate Reality Campus Corps, Environmental Education Club, Humanitarian Awareness Committee, Iowa State Recycling Services, Iowa Women in Natural Resources, Pay It Forward, Renewable Energy Group, Story County Conservation Center, The Loft, Volunteer Center of Story County
