Pop/hip-hop musician Gnash will host Iowa State University's annual singing competition, Cyclone Voice. The event will feature 14 ISU students vying to become the next Cyclone Voice. Doors will open by 6:30 p.m.

Los Angeles-based producer Gnash first rose to prominence with his hit song "i hate u, i love u," featuring Olivia O'Brien, which went multi-platinum across the globe, hitting numerous Top-10 charts and surpassing 350-million online streams. A regular musical collaborator, Gnash has also been featured on a wide variety of music from numerous artists, including the hit single "Lights Down Low" by pop artist MAX.

More recently, Gnash has released popular singles including "The Broken Hearts Club," "Nobody's Home," and "t-shirt," all of which would landed on his 2019 debut album, We. More singles followed in 2020 including "Wash Your Hands" and collaborations like "Heartbreak Anthem" with Kyd the Band, as well as his latest EP Outside/Inside.

Gnash will host the annual singing competition, introducing the show and each of the student performers. He will also perform a music set himself during the judge's deliberations, before the 2021 Cyclone Voice champion is announced.
