In this two part training, participants will learn the basics of open pedagogy, the process of engaging students in the co-creation of content as part of their learning. Join us and explore options for integrating open pedagogy into your teaching to foster a learning environment that better supports students' creativity and expression.

Participants will leave this training with examples of open pedagogy assignments they can implement in their classrooms, a model for scaffolding student learning when adopting open pedagogy, and resources to get started in this journey. Participants who attend both days and participate in the follow-up survey will receive a $200 stipend. Participation is limited to the first ten Iowa State University faculty who apply. Others will be put on a waiting list.

***This programming event will take place on Thursday and Friday, June 17 & 18 from 10-12:00 p.m.

*** Please note that registration for this programming event is now at capacity (06/08/21). Registrants will be placed on a waiting list and notified if a space becomes available. Thank you.
