The Victorian lady was the original craft queen and DIY-er. While many imagine them as sitting decorously in parlors with baskets of needlework, Victorian women were capable of much more than that. Join University Museums to uncover the stories of women crafters.

The capable hands of Victorian women decorated homes; clothing, if not hand-sewn, was often embellished by their skillful embroidery.
