In celebration of Earth Month, Merry Rankin, Director of Sustainability, will discuss sustainability as becoming increasingly more important to students and how, with deliberate mindfulness, instructors can address these needs through an infusion of environmental, economic and social sustainability in their learning environments.

In this workshop, participants will explore how reflecting on sustainability in their learning environments encourages students go beyond simply absorbing information to integrating these applications in their own lives and their community. Participants will leave this session with practical tools to include sustainability in their learning spaces while also building community and connection with students.
