Our Level 1 Foundations Top Hat Certification course equips instructors with the skills to make the most of Top Hat's core features, enabling them to adopt, customize and create interactive educational content, leverage Top Hat's assessment tools to see what students are learning and better engage their students--before, during and after class.

By the end of this session, instructors will be able to:

Organize their course in a way that best aligns with their course context and goals
Learn how to move their own course content into Top Hat quickly and easily
Identify the various tools in Top Hat that contribute to online engagement and class interactivity
Incorporate strategies for effective asynchronous teaching
This session is best suited for existing Top Hat instructors looking to enhance their knowledge of core features and master the tools necessary to meet a variety of learning objectives inside and outside the classroom. Please note that a cell phone and laptop are required to participate in this hands-on session.
