The Ada Hayden Herbarium, founded by Dr. Charles E. Bessey in 1870, contains more than 660,000 specimens and is 12th largest among US university herbaria. The specimens housed here were used as inspiration by the artist Ouizi to create the mural Hidden Gems of the Sculpture Garden. Learn more about the Anderson Sculpture Garden and the Art on Campus objects on view there with Sydney Marshall. Then attend a behind-the-scenes tour of the historic Ada Hayden Herbarium, led by Deb Lewis.

Tour begins at the Anderson Sculpture Garden, outside of Morrill Hall, 603 Morrill Road.
