Looking for ways to reduce stress, increase focus, and be more present in the moment? Mindfulness is a practice which can be easily incorporated in your life and learning spaces.

Frequently we feel too busy to pause and take the time to learn and enhance these skills. The Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) is providing a series of sessions (in collaboration with Student Health and Wellness and ISU WellBeing, UHR) to increase faculty, staff, and student access to these century-old practices. Using the Therapy Assistance Online (TAO) mental health app, available free to all members of the Iowa State University community, we will highlight various mindfulness practices to enhance your own mental health as well as that of students on campus. This month mindful eating will be featured.

Participants in the sessions will

1. Have an expanded definition of mindfulness

2. Experience various mindfulness practices

3. Explore the ease of TAO to practice mindfulness on the run.

Participants may attend any or all of the series' sessions.
