The conference aims to provide education, resources, and networking opportunities to Iowa's veteran community. It will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, breakout sessions, business pitch workshops with competition, and business partner exhibitors. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from successful veteran entrepreneurs, learn from industry experts and connect with other veterans.

New in 2023, attendees of the Iowa Veterans Entrepreneurship Conference are invited to participate in a Pitch Competition to be held during the conference. A Pitch Workshop will be held on June 1 prior to the Welcome Reception for those who may want assistance crafting their pitch.

The Iowa Veteran's Entrepreneurship Conference is co-hosted by Home Base Iowa, America's Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Iowa and the Iowa State University Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship.

The conference is open to Veterans, military personnel, their families and business partners, and community members who support Veteran entrepreneurs and business owners and will focus on the unique challenges and opportunities for veteran entrepreneurs in Iowa.
