Students, faculty, and staff are invited to participated in the 2024 Arbor Day Planting on Thursday April 25 at 1pm.
This year about 50 Burr Oak, Black Oak, and Northern Pecan seedlings will be planted on the steep slope between Sheldon Avenue extension and Pammel Drive. After the Arbor Day proclamation is read, volunteers will be invited to plant a seedling or two on the grass slope.
Campus Services will be on hand to provide tools and support.
The annual ISU Arbor Day planting event is funded by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the departments of Landscape Architecture, Horticulture and Forestry.
