This three-part workshop will teach you to quickly build and deploy a conversational AI pipeline including transcription, natural language processing (NLP), and speech. Registration required.

Workshop details and registration are available on the University Library website.

You'll explore automatic speech recognition (ASR) and text-to-speech (TTS) models and their customization in detail with the NVIDIA NeMo framework and learn how to deploy the models with TrAC data scientist Aditya Riva. Finally, you'll explore Riva services' production-level deployment performance and scaling considerations with Helm charts and Kubernetes clusters.

The first session (Oct. 16) will introduce the conversational AI landscape and the ASR pipeline.
The second session (Oct. 23) will explore the key components of the TTS pipeline and pipeline customizations.
The third session (Oct. 30) will work through performance, optimization, scaling, and production challenges.
