Join us for an evening celebrating all things sustainability at ISU. Food, connections, clothing swap and greening ideas, opportunities and giveaways!

Sponsored by the Office of Sustainability, as a companion event to the Symposium on Sustainability.

With the theme, "Our Green Community, Our Sustainable Future," this year's celebration focuses on reminding us of our collective sustainability contributions (individually, as a campus and as a community) and challenging ourselves to make our next commitment. Included in this event are: Green it Yourself (GIY) Centers - offering something to do and something to take; campus and community sustainability-themed tabling displays; local food refreshments; and greener living giveaways.

In addition, take part in a clothing swap and trade! Drop off donated items in collection boxes around campus or bring them to the event!! Swapping without donating is also possible by bringing two non-perishable food items or a $2 donation (to provide credit for one "swap"). Multiple donations can be made for multiple "swaps" - SPECIAL DEAL!! 3 swaps for $5 or 5 non-perishable donations!! *Reminder - condiment packets must be in multiples of 10 to count as one donation. All donations support The SHOP campus food pantry. Swaps can also be earned by visiting tabling organizations - one swap earned for every five organizations visited. All non-swapped clothing will be donated to community organizations serving those in need.

ISU Repair Cafe: Bring your clothing, jewelry, accessories and small electronics in need of a tweak and repair and empower yourself toward reuse instead of disposal. Campus and community volunteers will be on hand to assess your repair needs and assist you in completing the repairs on-site.
