The #EngageAMR21 virtual conference includes a variety of traditional presentations, interactive talks, and facilitated discussions. The student poster contest is online and will award cash prizes to the top three submissions. The conference is open to both members and nonmembers.

Dr. Lisa K. Son, Professor of Psychology at Barnard College, Columbia University, specializes in human learning and memory, and in metacognition. Her research focuses on how accurately people know the "self" and on the optimization of long-term retention. Dr. Son has recently become active in the movement against anti-Asian racism.
Debut authors Rachel Mans McKenny and Denise Williams will take participant questions about writing, finding time, balancing a writing career with full-time work and family responsibilities, balancing creativity with business, and that unbelievable moment you see your book on the shelf.
In her book "Kidney to Share," Martha Gershun tells the story of her decision to donate a kidney to a stranger. She takes readers through the complex process by which such donors are vetted to ensure that they are physically and psychologically fit to take the risk of a major operation.

The virtual symposium will provide information, support and inspiration for youth program leaders and other faculty and staff who work with youth programming at Iowa State.
Pop/hip-hop musician Gnash will host Iowa State University's annual singing competition, Cyclone Voice. The event will feature 14 ISU students vying to become the next Cyclone Voice. Doors will open by 6:30 p.m.

Sale of work by students in integrated studio arts/integrated visual arts and members of the College of Design Art Club (CODAC). Profits up to $1,500 will be donated to the SHOP food pantry on campus. To comply with pandemic protocols, the sale will take place outdoors under the overhang at the front entrance to the College of Design.
