The class is an introduction to the Yang Style Short Form as taught by Cheng Man-Ch'ing. Learning and doing the Form's movements refresh the spirit and improve balance, posture, flexibility, attitude, confidence and overall health and well-being. Students will also learn some Qigong health exercises. Lloyd has been studying and practicing Yang Style Tai Chi for two decades.

Mandalas are symbolic in Hinduism and Buddhism, and are created with geometric shapes incorporating ancient spiritual symbols. The Memorial Union will be hosting Tibetan Monks September 22-25, and they will create a large scale sand mandala on the 2nd floor.
