Born in Michigan and partially raised in Germany, he dropped out of the University of Texas at El Paso to front his first band, the funk and rap outfit Joe Rockhead.

The California-based MKTO features the talents of actor/musicians Malcolm Kelley and Tony Oller, who first met in 2010 while filming the Nickelodeon television series Gigantic. Their debut single, "Thank You," was released on YouTube in January 2013 and had over 500,000 views within two days of its release. Their follow-up single, "Classic," was released the following June.

Mechanical engineering student project teams will present the plans for a 1:5 working replica of the campanile and 27-bell carillon. Once completed, the portable model will be used at events and programs, and serve as an educational tool. Interdisciplinary teams in Design, Engineering and music will build the model over the next two years.

Two Athenians guided by a crow and a jackdaw leave their city and all its arguments in order to look for a better life. This is the start of an idea one of them eventually has--that birds were the original gods and should build themselves a great city between heaven and earth. The nightingale calls the birds of the world who begin to assemble and start building that city in the sky. Actors as well as puppets will be used in this new adaptation.
