The 2018 Richard Thompson Memorial Lecture. Winona LaDuke (Anishinaabe) is founder and Co-Director of Honor the Earth, a national advocacy group encouraging public support and funding for native environmental groups.

Workshop: Human Research Basics Series
"Navigating Your Research with Human Subjects: The IRB Submission Process." In this session, you will learn tips on developing and submitting protocols to the Institutional Review Board (IRB). An IRB staff member will walk through key sections of the non-exempt IRB application and explain what the IRB looks for during the review process. Applying the Quality Matters Rubric (APPQMR) Workshop
This Quality Matters (QM) flagship workshop on the QM Rubric and its use in reviewing the design of online and blended courses is intended for a broad audience, including but not limited to faculty, instructional designers, administrators, and instructors. It is particularly helpful to those new to QM or those considering the adoption of a quality assurance process for online and blended learning.

Egg Hunt
Co-hosted by the Ames Jaycees, festivities will include an egg hunt for all children 6th grade and younger. The egg hunt will run continuously from 9:00 - 11:00. Children will have the opportunity to search for colorful eggs to trade in for a goody bag. Goody bags will be provided.
