Cy's Finals Frenzy
The division of student affairs is hosting "Cy's Finals Frenzy" Dec 8-10 to promote healthy study habits and personal wellness for students ahead of final exams. Held in the Memorial Union and outside spaces around the building, the frenzy will offer study sessions, tutors and Supplemental Instruction leaders on site, quiet and group study rooms, free food and stress-relief activities including a smash room, crafts from the Workspace, and more.

Certified therapy dogs are available daily during prep week (Dec. 9-13) to help students de-stress. Additional student wellness activities including chair massages, relaxation activities, and free coffee and fruit will be available at select times through finals week (Dec. 16-19).
Seminar: Metabolic regulation of the male germline stem cell niche
Join this Genetics, Development and Cell Biology department seminar to hear Dr. Rafael S. Demarco, assistant professor in the department of biology at the University of Louisville, discuss research that highlights a critical role for metabolic factors in stem cell maintenance, providing a framework for investigating the impact of aging and metabolic diseases or stem cell function and tissue homeostasis.

Workshop: Subrecipient Monitoring
Collaborations with subrecipients are an essential part of research, but how do we properly manage subrecipients? Join OSPA as we examine the Uniform Guidance's expanded requirements for subrecipient monitoring on federal financial assistance awards. We will review roles and responsibilities within ISU along with important source documents like the Subrecipient Request Form and the Subrecipient Information Questionnaire.
