Iowa State Conference on Race and Ethnicity
Keynote speaker is activist and poet Lakota Harden. ISCORE is the university's local initiative designed to provide an ongoing platform of sharing and applying new knowledge through presentations and workshops. Registration (free) is requested.
Lecture: ISCORE Keynote Address
Lakota Harden (Minnecoujou/Yankton Lakota and HoChunk) is an orator, activist, community organizer, workshop facilitator and poet. The daughter of seven generations of Lakota leaders, she has dedicated her life to social justice.
Candidate Presentation: Landscape Architecture Chair Finalist Thomas Oslund
Thomas Oslund is a finalist for the position of chair of the ISU Department of Landscape Architecture. He currently is the principal and design director of Oslund and Associates, a professional design firm based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He will give a public presentation followed by a question-and-answer period.
Farewell reception: Joseph Rayzor
Joseph Rayzor has served as manager of insurance and claims in ISU's risk management office. He has been named director of risk management for the University of Northern Iowa.

ISU Wind Ensemble
The ISU Wind Ensemble features sixty of the finest student wind and percussion players on the Iowa State campus. They often feature renowned guest conductors, composers and soloists. The Wind Ensemble is under the direction of Michael Golemo. The Wind Ensemble has toured Europe seven times since 2003, and plans to tour Asia in May, 2020.
