Opening reception for installation of Intertwine, a project to yarn-bomb the front facade of the ISU College of Design's Design on Main facility at 203-207 Main St. in downtown Ames. Over the past 9 months, hundreds of people from across Iowa and throughout the US have submitted more than 1,000 1-ft.-sq. knit and crocheted panels that have been stitched together into a "giant quilt" to cover the front of the 130-year-old, two-story building.
