University Teaching Seminar
The Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) offers programming every August for new ISU teachers. This year's University Teaching Seminar on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 will invite new faculty and new teaching assistants to attend separate morning programming and joint afternoon programming.

For new tenured and tenure-eligible faculty (assistant, associate or full professors) hired since September 2012, this day is an opportunity to meet other new faculty and senior administrators. The schedule includes panel discussions and breakout sessions. Register online.

In this hands-on Blackboard Learn workshop you will learn how to create online tests, quizzes, and surveys and learn how to use them effectively within your BbLearn course. You will also learn how to view quiz results, grade, and provide student feedback online or set your quiz to grade and provide feedback automatically.
What's New with Responseware & TurningPoint?
Are you interested in learning how to engage your students? Have you used Clickers in your course? You will learn the technical, logistical and pedagogical aspects of engaging students and quickly assessing their understanding or viewpoints with TurningPoint (TP), a centrally supported student response system. You will also explore the New TurningPoint 5 interface for polling in PowerPoint, polling in any application and self-paced polling.
