From Aid to Resilience: West African Farmers Lead the Way
This program, in celebration of World Food Day, features two women farm leaders from West Africa. Susan Godwin has adapted her small-scale farm to meet changing market demands. She received the 2012 Female Food Hero award in Nigeria. Dienaba Diallo join her ethnic group's traditional vocation of animal herding despite encroachment of the Saharan Desert into her community's grazing lands. World Affairs Series.
