"Noises Off" began when the Michael Frayn stood backstage to watch a performance of a farce he had written and decided that what he saw backstage was funnier than what was happening onstage. The result is "Noises Off" which shows the disintegration of a third rate theatre company from behind the scenes. Frank Rich, theatre critic for The New York Times, called the script "The funniest play written in my lifetime."

Freelance Whales formed in 2008 and have been creating indie/rock music ever since. They gained buzz in 2010 with their self-released first album Weathervanes and gained popularity when their song "Generator ^ First Floor" was featured as background music in a Twitter video. The same song was later used in the hit NBC show Chuck, as well as advertisements for Chevrolet. The band is now touring in support of their follow-up album, Diluvia.

Chicago based hip-hop group, Sidewalk Chalk formed in 2008. The group has been praised for their unique blend of hip-hop and jazz. They received "Best Hip-Hop Act in Chicago" in 2010 by the Chicago Reader and released their first full-length album, entitled Corner Store in March of 2012. They're currently working to achieve their goal of being heard by the world and becoming an inspiration for its inhabitants - help them out by coming!
