In recognition of the 40th anniversary of the first Earth Day, she will discuss Catholic eco-justice teachings, with a focus on their roots in creation theology and their call to responsibility for the environment.

She will discuss how young children learn mathematics, what an effective curriculum in early childhood mathematics should include, and how we assess children's knowledge of the subject.
