Willow Trellis Workshop
Create your own trellis from willow with artists Pam Dennis and Ryk Weiss. Participants will get an opportunity to artfully construct a trellis perfect for vining and climbing plants. All materials will be provided and no previous experience is necessary. Participants need to bring a small bow saw, sharp anvil pruning shears, small hammer and wire cutters. William Tishler has been involved in the design and planning of the Jens Jensen Prairie Landscape Park at The Danish Immigrant Museum in Elk Horn, Iowa, and is emeritus professor of landscape architecture at the University of Wisconsin. This program is presented in partnership with The Danish Immigrant Museum, which this year will be exploring the life, career, and ongoing legacy of landscape architect Jens Jensen (1860-1951).
