Basketweaving: And Boot Two
Did Santa leave his boot behind? Weave Santa's Boot Two in class and you will have enough supply to start Boot One in class and take it home to finish. The boots will be trimmed in white fur.
Swing
This class will lead you through basic swing dancing so that you'll feel comfortable on the social dance floor and dancing to a variety of swing music. We'll touch on elements of Jitterbug, Charleston and Lindy Hop. Swing is a great social dance and is loads of fun. No partner or experience required!

Intermediate Knitting: Baby Sweaters
Is someone in your life expecting a little one? This course will guide intermediate knitters through the construction of a basic baby sweater. Baby sweaters are a great introduction to garment construction without the time investment required for an adult sweater. We will be following one of two Elizabeth Zimmerman patterns - Baby Surprise or February Baby. Knitters should be familiar with increasing, decreasing and yarn-overs.

Enamel copper and iron beads and bead caps as well as wire and flat copper sheet. Pull everything together with basic wire working techniques to complete your jewelry.

Performance: Noises Off
"Noises Off" began when the Michael Frayn stood backstage to watch a performance of a farce he had written and decided that what he saw backstage was funnier than what was happening onstage. The result is "Noises Off" which shows the disintegration of a third rate theatre company from behind the scenes. Frank Rich, theatre critic for The New York Times, called the script "The funniest play written in my lifetime."

Tony Lucca started his music career back in 1991 as a member of The Mickey Mouse Club alongside Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, and Christina Aguilera. For years he performed with notable acts such as, 'N Sync, Marc Anthony, Macy Gray, and Sara Bareilles. Lucca also saw recent success and much acclaim as a contestant on NBC's hit show The Voice. Tony finished as 2nd runner up, competing as part of Team Adam and coached by Adam Levine.

Yarn Bomb!
The Workspace and Ames C.art are takin' our craft to the streets! Yarn bombing is a fun and creative way to use up leftover yarn or find something to do with an unfinished project while adding temporary public art to a space. Because it can be eventually removed with just a pair of scissors it is also environmentally friendly.

Soap Making 101
Make quality, handmade soap from scratch. Learn the step by-by-step process - from the selection of oils and fragrances and calculating Lye amounts to picking out equipment. Lye safety will be emphasized (there are no pre-made synthetic bases in this class!)

Argentine Tango Practica
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4- 5pm moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for dancing better. From 5 - 7pm the dance floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie and working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.

SUB Music: Freelance Whales w/Geographer
Freelance Whales formed in 2008 and have been creating indie/rock music ever since. They gained buzz in 2010 with their self-released first album Weathervanes and gained popularity when their song "Generator ^ First Floor" was featured as background music in a Twitter video. The same song was later used in the hit NBC show Chuck, as well as advertisements for Chevrolet. The band is now touring in support of their follow-up album, Diluvia.

The ISU College Republicans will debate the ISU College Democrats on 2012 campaign issues before a panel of judges. The groups will also make available voter registration and candidate information. First Amendment Series.
