Monday Monologues series
A performance by the Jubilee Gospel Choir, a treble and bass vocal group providing space for singers and musicians. The choir enjoys exploring other genres derived from gospel like jazz and R&B. Jubilee performs on campus and in the Ames and DesMoines communities and is open to anyone who enjoys listening to, singing and/or playing gospel music, with no choir experience required.

Digital Scholarship Symposium
Learn from experts who will discuss creative examples of developing digital literacy skills in the classroom and using digital methods to open research to a wider audience. The two panel discussions are: "Digital Scholarship Pedagogy: Expanding Digital Literacy and Creativity in the Classroom" and "Public Digital Scholarship: Community Impact Through Digital Projects." A reception with follow. Register by April 8 (5 p.m.).
Workshop: Supporting Student-Centered Learning through Open Pedagogy
In this workshop, participants will be introduced to the concept of open pedagogy, a teaching practice focused on student-centered and project-based learning which aims to foster a learning environment that supports students' creativity and expression through the co-creation of content.
