Kids' Story Time
Each session features a theme with two or three books read aloud followed by a related craft or activity. The books, crafts and activities are intended for children ages two to seven years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Youth Program: Plant Heroes
Become a hero in the fight against the bad guys that threaten plants. Learn to identify common plant problems while you practice scouting and photographing "good" and "bad" insects. Join us for hands-on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) activities that will start you on your way to becoming a plant hero. Workshop: Pulp Painting
This is a 3 part class on Thursdays, August 14, August 21, and August 28 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Add color to paper pulp made from natural and recycled fibers, then reshape, dry, and press it to form 3-D paper pulp paintings. Yvonne Brune, of Creative Department, will show you how to make your own pulp - both with a blender and without. All levels of experience are welcome; ages 10 and up.
