ArtWalk: The Art of Business
Join University Museums' Interpretation Specialist, David Faux, for an exploration of the Gerdin Business Building. Come and discover the public art commissioned and purchased specifically for the home of the College of Business and rediscover some of the works of art that have found a new home in the art-filled building. Meet David inside the west main entryway.
Artful Yoga
This practice will enrich your yoga experience by going beyond the physical and inviting an artistic perspective to your awareness. Arrive early for a brief discussion of the new exhibition beginning at 5:15. The practice will begin at 5:30. No yoga experience is necessary, but please bring your own mat. Gallery Talk: Art + Issues
This gallery talk will use art as a launching pad for a community discussion on campus issues. The current exhibition is focused on the democratic process of commissioning public art for the Art on Campus Collection and will be the foundation for our discussion. The program will include a guided looking exercise, followed by an open-ended dialogue which will draw upon the art in the exhibition and the issues raised by the attendees.
