Night at the Museum: Meet Four of the 40/40 Exhibition Artists
Explore the 40/40 Exhibition celebrating University Museums' 40th anniversary and meet four of the artists from the College of Design whose work is part of the show. Art and visual culture Associate Professors Brent Holland, Chris Martin and Joe Muench and Professor Ingrid Lilligren invite conversations from 7:15 to 8 p.m. Professor Brenda Jones, who is teaching in Rome this fall, has provided a statement that will be shared at the event.

CANCELED: Wild School: Participation Post-Occupancy and the Problems of Assessment in Sustainable Design
Andrea Wheeler, assistant professor of architecture, will share results of a Big 12 Faculty Fellowship award at the University of Texas at Austin, during which she examined problems of assessment in the field of sustainable architecture. She takes a critical, feminist approach to exploring what it might mean to design a sustainable school environment while attending to ecological belonging. Part of the IDRO Friday Research Seminar Series.

Reception: "Ripples 2"
"Ripples 2" is an exhibition of nearly 100 different artworks originating from a single woodcut print. The exhibit features artist books, collages, drawings, paintings, sculptures, mixed-media works and videos created by more than 45 artists. "Ripples 2" runs Nov. 13-Dec. 7. Gallery hours are 2-5 p.m., Thursday through Saturday.

Redensification Rediscovered: Berlin Summer Academy 2015 Exhibition Reception
Award-winning work by ISU architecture students who participated in the five-week Berlin Summer Academy study-abroad program this past summer will be on display in the College of Design's Lyle E. Lightfoot Forum Nov. 16-20. Meet the students, view the work and enjoy refreshments at the opening reception. Program leader Ulrike Passe and architecture department chair Deborah Hauptmann will give a brief welcome and remarks.
