Graduate College applications for graduation for Spring 2014 are due in the Graduate College, 1137 Pearson Hall.
Registration begins for juniors: Spring 2014
First day of assigned Spring 2014 registration dates for students projected as juniors. Hours for AccessPlus registration are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday--Saturday, and most Sundays.

ISU Research Foundation executive director Lisa Lorenzen will lead a discussion on the differences between engaging in research sponsored by industry and the federal government. Participants are welcome to bring their lunch; cookies will be provided.
Teaching and Learning Circle: Critical Thinking in Your Classroom
This circle meets for 5 consecutive Fridays: Jan. 31, Feb. 7, 14, 21 and 28. Members will examine critical thinking, the NSF-funded CAT test and how we can transform learning at Iowa State.

Hawkins, assistant director in enrollment services, is retiring. A program will begin at 2:30 p.m.

Lisa Smith, a systems analyst with IT Services, is leaving after 14 years of service to the department. Refreshments will be served.

Join us for a fun exploration of techniques in "painting" bisque. Using spirals of color and plastic wrap, create a tie-dye effect inside your new favorite bowl.

Comedy with Tig Notaro
Comedian Tig Notaro began her set at Largo in Los Angeles the day she was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer with: "Good evening, hello. I have cancer. How are you?" There was nervous laughter, weeping and total silence in the audience.
