Memory Box Assemblages
Take inspiration from Kathy Svec's assemblages in her "Open Book Series" exhibit in the Pioneer Room. Work directly with Kathy in the exhibit space for an afternoon, and get expert help in putting your precious items together in an artistic, meaningful way.
"Little Dresses for Africa" Work Weekend
Simple dresses made out of pillowcases provide relief and hope for the children of Africa. We will provide the supplies, but can use the hands of volunteers to assist with making the dresses.

Retirement reception: Phil Spike

Open Mic Night
Open mic night gives students the chance to show off their talents to their fellow students. Many are musicians, comedians, and poets. So come on out and show us what kind of talents you have. (Sign Up starts at 7:00 p.m. until all spots are filed)

Kid's Story Time
Each session features a theme with two or three books read aloud followed by a related craft or activity. The books, crafts and activities are intended for children ages two to seven years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
ClubFest II
ClubFest is an opportunity for students to browse through over 250 clubs and organizations to find out how to GET INVOLVED on campus. Although there are over 800 clubs and orgs on campus, a large sample will have booths with informational hand-outs and giveaways to highlight their club and recruit new members.

Open forum: Healthy Campus Initiative
The university is collaborating with Sibson Consulting to evaluate the direction for our wellness program efforts. The forum is an opportunity to learn more about the status of the wellness initiative as well as to provide input to the consultants. Input will help ensure the best outcomes for the wellness program design.

We will explore the successes, and challenges of adopting an online course evaluation system as an effective mechanism for students to evaluate teaching (SET) and learning.
