Natural Mask-Making Workshop

Using natural materials found and collected at Reiman Gardens, Molly will teach you how to make a beautiful insect or animal mask you can wear to celebrate diversity in the animal kingdom!

Carillon Superhighway I-35: Performing Arts Productions over Advanced Network
Three speakers will talk about an upcoming collaborative performance between ISU's Stanton Memorial Carillon and performing arts groups outside the state of Iowa. Like a 2002 "Star Bells" performance, this project will take place simultaneously in two venues with two live audiences. This is a 4 week course on Tuesdays beginning April 7, April 14, April 21, & April 28 from 6:00-8:30 p.m. This 4-part workshop covers the basics of photography including equipment & how to use it, depth of field, aperture, light, composition, finding your subject & tips & tricks. Each class is broken into 3 parts: classroom discussion, hands-on practice taking pictures by the students & review. Bring your DSLR camera & tripod to each class.
