While attendees snack on traditional bacon strips and unique bacon items, they can also enjoy live entertainment and learn about Iowa's pork industry from ISU student organizations, vendors within the industry and the Bacon Expo education committee.

"Toward a Natural Forest: The Forest Service in Transition," Jim Furnish. A 1968 ISU alum, Furnish is a consulting forester in the Washington D.C. area. He served with the USDA Forest Service for 34 years. His book and seminar discuss the evolution of Forest Service management and policy from an environmental perspective.
