Youth Program: Plant Pals
Join us and cultivate a real garden at Reiman Gardens. We will learn about and grow lots of vegetables, pumpkins, tomatoes and sunflowers, as well as beautiful flowers. Each session has hands-on activities to interact with all the wonderful plants that we enjoy and eat. Classes are great for kids of all ages to participate in with an adult.

Attend each month and experience a new topic presented by local and regional professionals and lecturers.
Paint Your Own Pottery: Bubble Painting
Join us for a fun exploration of techniques in "painting" bisque. This is sort of like blowing bubbles when you were a kid, but we do it with a straw and paint. The popped bubbles show up and make interesting patterns on the finished pieces. Studio fee is $4 for ISU and $5 for public to attend plus the cost of the bisque you select. Pottery will be fired within a week for you to pick up.
Nesting Boxes Class
Make a 6, 5 & 4 inch set of nesting boxes. Part of the class will utilize hand tools to learn a traditional hand joinery technique. Then learn to use the machinery to make boxes efficiently. The Woodshop Orientation class is helpful, but not required for this class.
