Registration begins for freshmen: Summer 2014, Fall 2014
First day of assigned Summer 2014 and Fall 2014 registration dates for students continuing as freshmen. Hours for AccessPlus registration are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday--Saturday, and most Sundays.
Symposium: Undergraduate research and creative expression
A day-long celebration of undergraduate research that brings students from all academic disciplines together to share their work with the university community, families and guests through oral presentation sessions in a conference-style environment. Participation is open to any ISU undergraduate involved in mentored research.

Katharine G. Abraham, former commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, was a member of the Council of Economic Advisers from 2011 to 2013. A graduate of Iowa State, she is currently Professor of Economics and Survey Methodology at the University of Maryland, where she has also been appointed the first director of the Maryland Center for Economics and Policy.
