Installed in 1938, Christian Petersen's sculpture, The Gentle Doctor has become an internationally recognized symbol of veterinary medicine. Since then, thousands of graduates from The College of Veterinary Medicine have been inspired by the loving care and trained expertise represented through Petersen's works of art. Meet University Museums' Interpretation Specialist, David Faux, at the southwest entrance (flagpole entrance) of the College.
