FAC: Friday at the Center
Join us at the Alumni Center on the eve of the season's football opener. Enjoy "Friday Football" trivia, spinning of the "Wheel of Fun," a cash bar (beer, wine, soda) from Olde Main Brewing Co., and light snacks. For those age 21 and older.
Performance: Deuces Wild Dueling Pianos
A fund-raiser for the Ames Foundation's ongoing beautification projects in Ames. The Deuces Wild show offers comedy, audience participation and a mix of parodies and music that includes rock, country, rap and show tunes. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Cyclone Central Tailgate
The alumni association's pregame tailgates open three hours before kickoff. A buffet meal is available for purchase when preordered ($17 public, $12 members); refreshments and merchandise also are available for purchase.
