Curator's Lecture: Lea Rosson Delong
"The True Price of Victory." Lea Rosson Delong discusses her scholarship on Christian Petersen and explores the strong side of this gentle sculptor. In addition to contemporary art, she has concentrated on American art of the Depression era, curating exhibitions and writing about the southwestern painter Alexandre Hogue and about New Deal art of the Midwest.
ISU Theatre Production of "The Odd Couple"
This play asks the question, "Can two divorced men, one a neurotic neat freak and one a messy sportswriter, share an apartment without driving each other crazy?" The answer, of course, is "No!" Playwright Neil Simon has a special genius for finding great humor in ordinary people doing ordinary things and this is one of his most enduring scripts. Winner of the Tony Award for Best New Play.

Collage of Choirs
Four different vocal ensembles and 300 of Iowa State's finest musicians will join forces for an afternoon of outstanding music. Scheduled to perform are the Iowa State Singers, Cantamus women's choir, Iowa Statesmen men's choir and Lyrica women's choir. Each choir is known for its musicality and spirited commitment to singing.

Tuesday Tea at the Farm House Museum
Come to the Farm House Museum to enjoy tea and conversation. Mark your calendar from Noon to 1:00 pm Tuesday Sept. 29th and enjoy the 150 year old structure in a whole new way. The "Exceptional Longevity" initiative: A gerontology program colloquium
Peter Martin, professor in human development and family studies, and graduate students Mindy Heinz and Laura Temple will share preliminary results from a study of very old adults, their optimal ways of adaptation, and exceptional survivorship skills, at a gerontology program colloquium on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 4 p.m., in the Gold Room, Memorial Union.
