Printmakers in Paradise: Japanese Landscape and Woodblock Prints
Ivan Hanthorn presents a program that sheds light on the landscape and garden scene tradition in Japanese woodblock prints of the 19th and 20th centuries, noting continuing relevance to contemporary aficionados of Japanese gardening and bonsai. Collecting and care of Japanese prints will also be addressed.

Elisabeth Nguyen, engineering specialist in the software systems engineering department at The Aerospace Corporation, will present "Using an Assurance Case to Support Independent Assessment of the Transition to a New GPS Ground Control System."
Lecture: U.S. Wind Energy Market Report
Kathy Belyeu, manager of the American Wind Energy Association's Industry Information Services, will share the results of the association's Annual Wind Industry Report. In addition to the national report, she will provide information specific to Iowa, which has the second most installed wind capacity of any state. Jonathan Wickert, Dean of the College of Engineering, will provide the introduction.
